Out-Growth – choreographic and digital performance

Out-Growth is an interactive performance for one dancer and a horde of digital agents acting with their own purpose. Integrated into a shape-recognition system, these generative graphical particle elements are projected onto piles of white cushions and beanbags. Transformed into hives of particles, worms, or bacteria, they affect the performer, who then alters the projection in turn. A landscape haunted by the passage of time, questioning the relationship between organic life and artificial intelligence.
